This section provides detailed information regarding the trust’s criteria for the award of a grant, and the process of application.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, candidates should:
- Have completed Advanced levels with 13 Points and above.
- Possess an excellent academic track record
- Be aged 20 or under on 30th October in the academic year of the study visit (Candidates are encouraged to apply within 2 years of completing A' Levels).
However, we encourage girls whose academic work has been disrupted for family or other reasons to apply. The reasons should be stated clearly in the application). Please note: Preference is given to opharns and indigent studentsApplications are made via the relevant institution in your province or origin. Applications that are correctly completed are then forwarded to the EDUNZA Scholarship Trust for detailed assessment. Applications are made through the submission of a completed application form and the provision of a School Head, Chief or Councillor references. The fund will cover tuition for the period of study, accommodation, transport at the beginning and end of the year, health care insurance, study permit and a monthly stipend. A laptop will be provided as a once-off provision upon enrolment into the first semester of first year. (Textbooks and other study material will remain a property of the scholarship program and will be surrendered to the trust upon completion of studies).
